Pet Policy

Hearth Hollow Apartments are Pet-Friendly! 

We welcome pets at Hearth Hollow Apartments.

We require a non-refundable Pet Fee for all dogs, cats and large birds due at move in.

There is a monthly pet fee of $25 per pet or $35 for two (2) pets. No more than two (2) pets allowed per apartment home.

The initial Pet Fee does not transfer from apartment to apartment.

Breed restrictions are as follows: We do not accept Pit Bull, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Wolf Dog, or any mix of these breeds. Property reserves the exclusive right to make final determination as to dog breed.

Pets allowed without deposits: small birds, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish aquariums that are five (5) gallons or less. Note: deposits are required on large birds, including but not limited to, Parrots, Cockatiels, Sun Conures, or other birds often let out of cages.

The following pets are not authorized at Hearth Hollow Apartments: snakes, lizards, sugar glider, flying squirrels, chinchillas, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, rodents or venomous animals of any kind.

The following are the pet owner’s requirements: No pets are to be allowed on new carpet or carpet less than two (2) years old, pets must be inoculated, proof of age on file, all deposits and fees must be paid on or before the date the resident takes possession of the apartment or, at the time the pet is adopted and brought into the apartment home. A separate pet addendum is required to be completed, signed and considered as part of the Lease Agreement.

Unauthorized pets found in your apartment home will be subject to a $200 monthly fee up until the date the lessee registers the pets and pays the required pet fee. In addition, the pet may be required to be immediately removed from the apartment and a damage assessment conducted. If you choose to keep the pet, you will still owe the non-refundable Pet Fee and pet rent charges will be back charged to the start of the apartment lease.

Hearth Hollow Apartments complies with all Fair Housing requirements. Valid Service and/or Support Animals are not considered pets and are not subject to this policy.

We want to meet and get to know these important four-legged members of your family. Please bring your pet to the office for an “interview”. We have treats at our Bark Bar!
